Weddington, NC (PRWEB) October 24, 2013
Generation Zero Group, Inc. (GNZR:OTCQB) has appointed Richard M. Morrell as its new Chief Executive Officer and as a member of its Board of Directors. He will lead the development and execution of the company’s near-term and long-term strategies with the goal of driving immediate earnings through revenue-producing business lines with a focus on growth and shareholder value.
“Richard made an immediate impression on us as an energetic action-oriented leader when we first engaged with him on a consultative basis,” said Cynthia White, one of Generation Zero Group’s Directors, who continued “His vision and ideas are exactly what we were looking for. We believe that he has the experience and capabilities to lead our company to growth. In a short period of time, he has already moved us forward on a number of fronts.”
Since Mr. Morrell joined Generation Zero Group in July, he has focused the organization on its flagship business line, find.com. “Right now the company is all about find.com. We have developed new initiatives and partnerships for find.com that will boost its growth in the coming months, and we expect to make some exciting announcements about those developments very soon,” Mr. Morrell said. “In addition to find.com, the company will continue to seek out and engage high-value business opportunities on an ongoing basis.”
Prior to joining Generation Zero Group, Mr. Morrell was the Regional Vice President of Finance for Time Warner Cable’s East Region, where he directly led an organization of over 400 team members. Extensive experience gained from senior management positions within Wachovia/Wells Fargo, the Utah Athletic Foundation and the Salt Lake Olympic Committee is reflected in his key strength of successfully implementing fiscal responsibility and accountability at all levels.
A native of Washington State, Mr. Morrell earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington and received his MBA from Brigham Young University. He currently resides in Marvin, NC with his wife and four children.
